Visit the old fortress in Klis, a medieval Split stronghold that had huge influence on defending Split from the Otoman empire and a place with breathtaking views. Here we will see the well preserved fortress and one of historical military formation called “Kliški uskoci” or Deserters of Klis. You will explore historical sites within the fortress accompanied by the actual Kliški uskok guide, including a visit to the Church of St. Vid. On this tour you will also visit the exhibits from the museum’s collections of historical weapons and uniforms in their own armoury building. You can experience an actual sword duel, spear throwing, use of bow and arrow if available.
